A Covid outbreak among the Sherpa support staff and guides caused the cancellation of our climb on the summit attempt eve, for safety and logistical reasons. Obviously, this was a huge disappointment to myself, teammates and all of our supporters. Adversity is part of life that everyone most go through at some point. I think about the struggles the burn victims got through on a daily basis and realize adversity comes in many different forms, but creates an introspection and growth needed to continue forward. Thank you for your support and wishes, I am better off for the experience!
