Called the Stone Sentinel it stands 22,841 feet and is the tallest mountain outside of Asia. It is located in western Argentina on the border of Chile in the Andes Mountain Range. A three day hike with mules gets you to basecamp and from there all supplies are carried up by climbers. There are three more camps leading to the summit day, which is around 14 hours roundtrip. Although, the view from the top is unbelievable. This climb is not technical, but is made difficult by the extreme altitude; with the majority of the climb taking place on rocky surfaces, giving the mountain it's nickname. Aconcagua was sacred to the native Inca culture and the site of sacrifices.
