This foundation was started by a fellow Minneapolis firefighter, Jake Lafferriere, and the beneficiary of my fundraising quest. Jake was badly burned at a house fire nearly 10 years ago. I was at that fire, witnessed his struggle and assisted in the rescue attempt. His desire to survive that day lives on in this foundation and all of the children and burn victims they support. I want to channel that desire in my climbing adventures and am asking you to participate through donations and sponsorship. Thank you.
